"I don't want this," she screamed. Tears dripping out of her eyes, anger emanating from her veins.
"Ok." he seemed indifferent just like always. His behaviour irked her but she wanted to sort it all out that day.
"I want to be out. I can't pretend. I am tired of all this shit." she cried. She was in pain. He didn't like the water leaking out of her eyes. He didn't know how to react as he had never pacified anyone.
"Ok." was the only response she received. She knew she wouldn't get any other word from her cold-hearted husband.
"I have decided something." she announced before adding further, "For us."
"Ok."
"Here." She placed the papers on the table in front of him. Furrowing his eyebrows he looked at her.
"These are the contract papers I asked my lawyer to make." She wiped her tears and took deep breaths before she let the next statement leave her mouth.
"The moment our company would pay the loss, the marriage will be nullified."
All he heard was his marriage would be nullified. He clenched his teeth and he felt the only emotion he was familiar with, anger.
He threw the papers on the floor and yanked her to him.
"My answer is No." he seethed looking straight into her eyes. That was the moment she realized her destiny was tangled with his. She was entrapped with her Peculiar Husband for life and there was no way she could be out of it.
