But he knew better than to fight back. The Wildes were a force to be reckoned with, way beyond the Blairs' league. So, he bit his tongue and took the scolding, nodding obsequiously, "Yes, yes, you're absolutely right. I'll make changes. Everything Mr. Wilde says goes."
Nova was completely baffled. Why was Ashton suddenly changing his tune, apologizing to her and even standing up for her against Mark's harsh criticism?
