Chapter Nine Jake is starting to be another problem. He’s not a bad guy, of course. He’s got a fun sense of humor, even if it can border on goofy sometimes. He makes me laugh—a good thing because lately I could use some laughter. But what he doesn’t seem to understand is that I need a friend.
