Chapter Four The cell phone store took less time than Beatrice had feared. Beatrice had thought that maybe the cell phone people wouldn’t understand what kind of phone she was talking about since they dealt with such advanced technology all the time. But they quickly found what they called a “basic phone” and she left in mere minutes. That afternoon, Beatrice pulled weeds near her mailbox.
