I must have dozed off because when I opened my eyes, it was already dark. How I managed to sleep off in that uncomfortable position was surprising. I notice Anna on her bed but she was on the phone with someone.
“Are you up?” Charlotte mind links me and I glanced at her bed to see she was there, staring at me.
“Yes. When did you get back?” I mind link her back.
“About two hours now. You’ve been sleeping, ” she mind links me back.
I sat up straight and grabbed the watch beside my bed. It was a few minutes past 8 P.M. I slept four hours straight. s**t.
“I have news for you, ” Charlotte says through mind link again.
“Is it about Lucas?” I ask.
