ADRIANA'S POV
This wasn't something she had anticipated. The fear inside her is threatening to eat her whole. It was as if that night when she was thrown into the cold waters of the river came rushing back to hunt her down. But she fought it. Right at that moment, she knew fear wouldn't hep her. She had to do something.
"Maeve and Giselle set you up for this," she said and the men kept grinning. "Before I came here, I was with Lord Reagan Terranova. You see, Lord Reagan is very open with his affection towards me. In fact, he wanted to make me his wife."
