Katherine walked toward her with a cocky grin on her face. As if telling her that she had won the battle and that it was over for it. She wanted to tell Katherine that the battle hasn't even started. But she continued her act of being the oppressed daughter and eyed the papers in Katherine's hand instead.
Adriana was about to reach out to take it, but Katherine deliberately let go of the papers and it scattered on the floor.
