The Heartless BIllioniare

Episode 8

I turned around and a scream left my lips as I unexpectedly saw a shadow in front of me

'Who is it? You better come out I was a black belt in karate' I shouted as went to a fighting position and started walking to the living room

'Boo'!' Alisha shouted and bent down to miss the punch I threw

'What the actual f**k is wrong with you! I was this close to having a heart attack' I shouted at her

'You should have seen your face' She said as she started giggling making me put my hands on my chest and breathing out deeply to keep calm while rolling my eyes

'Who's Mercedes was that that dropped you anyways' She said trying to change the subject

'Zane's sister. She is actually really nice and she asked me if I want to be friends with her cause apparently am not like the other girls and am meeting her tomorrow after work' I said

'Damn girl! But its true you aren't like the other girls. Now go and have a shower and you can tell me everything that happened today.' she said pushing me towards the stairs to my room

I grabbed my blazer and took my shoes of with me heading to my room and went to have a shower. After I was done I dried my hair putting it in a messy bun and wore my pyjama shorts 

I told Alisha how I ended meeting Mariah and how Zane came behind me and let out a old breath making me moan and she sat there laughing at me. I told her what happened in the lift as well and she started saying that he is an ass

'So about tomorrow, you can come as well you know' I said

'I would love to but I am meeting at work' she said

'Oh wow ok' I said

When I got a new job Alisha tried getting a job as an secretary in the city and she had gone for the interview today

We watched Netflix and ate spaghetti bolognaise that I cooked later on. When it was about ten at night we decided to go to bed

I set my alarm and went tto bed trying to sleep which I did in minutes

The Next Day

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! the alarm went off

When I woke up Alisha had pushed me to the edge as she always does. I grabbed on her leg and pushed it to the other side angrily and she let out a groan

I went to shower and after I was done I dried my hair and decided to straighten it then have big curls. Because I was going to attend a meeting I decided to put light makeup on with Red Matte lipstick with silver coloured stud earrings.

Once I was done I went to my room to look for clothes to wear. I decided to go with my midi bodycon white dress which I got on sales and black block heels

Alisha was still in bed and had her legs on both sides of the bed  and her hair all over. She was waiting to see if she got the job but I for sure think she did

I headed downstairs and had cereal with and a banana. When I checked the time it was 6:30 and I leaved straightaway to avoid being late and plus I had to go and prepare for the meeting

It wasn't raining and there was no traffic so I got there at 7 sharp which meant I had more than enough time to prepare. 

I went to my office and left my purse there and went to get snacks and water bottles. It turns out the boardroom was the floor under ours and it was annoying because I had to take about 5 rounds to get all the snacks in the boardroom

When I was done setting it up I went back to my room and went on my email looking for the document Zane had sent me and printed them into twelve copies. I took them to the boardroom putting each at near a chair 

I let out a sigh and went back up and to the kitchen to make myself coffee. The meeting hadn't started and I was tired already. When I was done making it I walked outside the kitchen and at the same time Zane was coming out of the lift

He had an Armani grey suit with a white shirt and some buttons open to reveal a little bit of his muscular chest and was wearing shiny black shoes. His hair was nicely combed which made him look attractive

He was on his phone smirking and omg, he has the sexiest smirk going. He had not noticed I was standing there as he come out of the lift so I faked coughed to get his attention

His eyes short at me and walked towards me standing in front of me and my lungs breathed  in the scent of his expensive cologne. I gave him a smile and he looked at my face for a while then moved his eyes all the way to my legs then up again

'Did you prepare for the meeting?' he asked with his deep masculine voice sending shivers all over. He walked passed me towards his office then said 'Make me coffee and don't mess it up if you don't want me to make you make it again.' 

He opened his office door and closed it behind him. 'Why is he so rude for, arrogant bastard?' eyerolls

I went back to the kitchen sipping on my coffee  while  made Zane one as well. When I was done I took it to his office and knocked and went in when he told me to.

'You coffee sir' I said giving him a friendly smile. He curiously stared at me for a while but I smiled at him the whole time trying to keep myself professional.

'Is that all?' I asked

He said there looking at me for a while
