I sat down on my bed and searched The Santiago Enterprise. I scrolled down as I read the details . I have been looking for a job for a while now and when Alisha (worker at the bakery) told me the owner of the company was looking for a PA I decided to try. As I read through it, it listed what I needed for the interview and what I would be doing.
Yawning I got out of bed and started getting ready for the day. After having a shower I slipped into my tight blue jeans and wore a black tank top which showed my curvy body. I dried my hair and left it falling on my back and headed downstairs for breakfast. I made some pancakes and put honey on top with strawberries. 'Yummy!' I said to my self as I put the pancake n my mouth closing my eyes in pleasure.
After I was done, I washed the dishes and wore my glittery sandals and went to grab my purse. I put my card in it since I was going to get some formal clothes for tomorrow's interview
The Santiago Company is really popular and I wouldn't want to go there and embarrass myself plus I had to look good for a higher chance of getting a job. I didn't have lots of money to buy clothes in a designer shop but I was hoping to find something nice for a low price.
I got out of my house and called a taxi which drove me to the city. I knew this small shop which usually has really nice, cheap clothes.
20 minutes of being in the taxi, I finally got off and started walking past the street. I got to the shop and smiled at the cashier who smiled back at me.
I looked around and found a black pencil skirt. 'Perfect!' I said to myself as I walked towards it and looked for my waist size.
'Just need to find a top to go with it and can get different colours as well just in case' I thought
I picked a baby pink, blue and black silk blouse and a black, white. dark blue and red pencil skirt.
I also got some 6 inch black, stiletto which would match with the outfits. I went to the cashier and paid for my them, grabbed the packed bags and left the shop.
I decided I would go to work but first, I had to get some groceries from the supermarket. I made my way there and bought some drinks, vegetables and fruits then called a taxi heading back home.
I dragged all the shopping bags inside my house after opening the door. I put the foods in the fridge and took the clothes to my room and hang them in the little closet I had.
After changing into my work clothes, took my phone and keys and went outside again and began walking to the bakery.
I walked inside and greeted Alisha who was grinning at me behind the counter.
'Hey girl' she said with the biggest smile on her face
'Hi Alisha' I said
'So, how was the shopping' she asked
' I was able to find some decent clothes guess...' I said
'I didn't expect you to come to work today but I am happy to see you because I was dying of boredom a few minutes before' she sad as we both giggled
The rest of the day went slow. Customers came and went and I stayed there serving them but talked to Alisha so wasn't that bored.
I figured it would be better coming to work today and get some extra cash than to stay home doing nothing
4 hours passed and it was time to close up the shop.
' I am actually going to miss working with you know' Alisha said as she rolled her eyes
'I know I will as well but gotta do what I gotta do' I said sounding cheeky
'Don't worry though, will still be in touch and we can hang out sometime' I said
' And why are we talking like I already got the job?' I said giggling
'I wish you good luck even though I know you will get it' Alisha said looking at me.
' I hope' I said
We hugged each other after closing the shop and parted ways.
I walked fast to my house because it was almost getting dark and didn't want to be outside really late. After I got home I had a shower, brushed my teeth and wore my pyjama shorts set and got ready for bed.
I set my alarm to 6:30 before I forgot and connected my phone to the charger. 'tomorrow is another day' I mumbled and fell deep into asleep
