Chapter 21
"Stay"
The day I’ve been waiting for has finally come. I feel so emotion as it finally sink in to me that all my hard work has paid off. The graduation march song is music to my ears. Suot ang togang itim at graduation cap, I climb the stairs up to the stage as my name being called.
“Fajardo, Santina Krisanta B., Magna c*m Laude.”
I remove my cap as the University President put on my medal. He shook my hand and the other dignitaries too.
“Thank you po.”
I face the crowd and smiled. Nagkaroon ng mabilisang picture taking. Pagkatapos ay tumuloy na ako sa kabilang side ng stage. I hold the medal on my neck tightly and sighed.
“Ay!” Napatili na lang ako nang may biglang humila sa akin papunta sa makakapal na tela ng backstage.
