Days had passed since I was allowed out of the room that had served as my prison. The taste of freedom, though limited, was still a victory and I savored every moment of it. I could now roam the pack grounds, I could now breath in the crisp afternoon air, or feel the sun against my skin. But I was never alone. The ever-watchful eyes of Alaric's warriors followed my every move. I bet they will even follow me to the bathroom if they could.
