I expected this but why did I freeze when I heard his confessions? I was worried this would happen, especially bringing me to a romantic place like this. I should have known.
I didn't know what to say to him and I didn't want to hurt his feelings either. But we've been separated for a long time and things changed. If it was the past, I would have probably accepted him.
But the situation is different now. He definitely belongs with Daisy and not me. I will not betray her by taking the mate she waited so long for away from her. She deserves to be happy because she's so good to everyone.
