A false alarm?
Who could have given a false alarm like that and made them go to the border, only to get there and realize it was a waste of time? It felt like someone was planning to infiltrate this place when the security was weak.
I suddenly realized what was going on. I pulled my brother to explain to him.
"You know, someone just tried to kidnap me, and probably, they wanted to take me away so that they could poison our father more. Not just that, it seems like there are more spies in this pack than you think."
"I disagree with you, Mia. There might be spies here, but there aren’t a lot of them. Our pack members are usually good people, and I don’t know what got into the guy that got caught spying," he defended.
