Lucas's POV
I called a meeting with the men that came with my sister so that we could try to solve this case without involving her. It is dangerous for her to get involved in things like this. Since they already tried to abduct her, there will be more attempts in the future, and I want her to be safe, even though she thinks I'm being stupid for defending them.
I'm not defending them because I think they are right about what they did, but because I may still need them in the future to uncover the mastermind behind all of this. The only way I can do this is to see them as righteous people.
"Is there anything in particular you want to talk about, Alpha?" Nathan asked me rudely.
