She would be here. I didn’t care what she said. Now that she had some time to think about it and a way out she would be here. I glanced nervously at my watch. It was only a few minutes till midnight, our plan would be well underway by now.
Dan and Natalie would be in position in the palace. They had smoke machines set up in a few key places and they were ready to set off the fire alarms. With the party still in effect and so many important guests in attendance, they would not be taking any chances with safety. They would evacuate the palace before anyone had a chance to notice that the fire was not real.
