Tori “Here.” Thorne’s voice cuts through the haze, and I lift my head slightly to see him placing a bottle of painkillers and a glass of water in front of me. “My hero,” I mutter, grabbing the bottle like some junkie going through withdrawals. My fingers fumble with the cap, and I feel a wave of frustration.
