He pushes the door and walks to his room .

Mom : please call her . I want to sleep already . I’m tired .

I video call her with the laptop . She shows up .

She looks like she was crying . Her eyes are red . Acting skills are on the high level . She wants us to feel bad for her .
Me : Luchumo , mom needs to rest .
She clears her throat.

Mom : what is it Luchumo .
She pulls the glass of water next to her and drinks.
Mom looks at me wit a frown . I shrugs .
Chumo : where is Kungawo ?
Me : he’s doing his homework .
Her : can you please call him . I need to talk with you all .
Mom : you want to traumatize my son with whatever you’re going to say . I know you very well , those red eyes were busy cooking bullshit .
Ohh that’s shocking . I’ve never heard my mom angry like this .
Chumo : ok then , let me start .
She wipes her tears .

There is a male voice in the background. I knew she was living with one of her Nigerians. I’m not shocked . It was just a conformation.
I looks at mom , she shook her head in disapproval.
Chumo : my dad left you when you were pregnant , you had a right to terminate me but you chose to give a chance to live . With that , thank you so much mom .
Mom : are you dying?
I rolls my eyes . That’s what she knows . Stressing my mom all the time .
Me : she’s just acting . We are waiting for the money Luchumo .
Chumo : please let me finish . Mom thank you for everything . I’m who I am today because of you .
Mom : that’s an insult , I didn’t raise a p********e.
She mumbles but I heard her . I try so hard to not laugh .

She takes her phone .
Her : I hope I’m making the right decision. I have to , for your peace and for my mental health .

Her : please tell Kungawo that I love him . I’ll send the money after the call . Mom I hope you get better , I’m sorry that you had to go through that pain . I love you bye .
Then She disconnected the call .

She looks at me shocked .

I closes the laptop and jumps up and down .
