Zayden's POV
I mind-linked Matthew as soon as I arrived at the hospital. He said that Celeste wanted some fresh air and was on the rooftop. I skip the elevator and run up the stairs.
I walk outside to the roof and spot Matthew close by. He nods in the direction of Celeste. She is sitting on the bench with her legs underneath her. Her eyes are shut, and her face is facing the moon.
She looks like she is at peace, I was expecting her to be more ignited and on edge. Watching her sit there in a state of relaxation stirs a desire.
