“Why do you look so unhappy?" I move closer to Zayden, and he wraps me into his arm; I lay my head on his chest.
“I forgot how much I hate being a CEO. When I was fighting months ago, I felt alive, and my wolf was so d*mn happy to fight. Now my fighting is done in a boardroom with many cranky board members who complain about my decisions." He lets out a groan of frustration.
I couldn't help but giggle; seeing him upset about being a CEO is amusing.
“Are you laughing at me?" He turns his head to look at me, and I look up with a smile.
“Have I ever told you how cute you are when annoyed?" I ask him with an innocent voice.
