After a flight that felt like years, we finally arrive in New Orleans. Zayden already has things ready for us as soon as we land. A car is sitting outside ready to fetch us, but Matthew said he will follow behind us.
I don't want to stop anywhere, I just want to see my grandma. We get to the hospital, and Matthew follows behind us but at a distance.
Oliver was walking beside me, “Celeste I am sure she will be okay." The closer I get to her room, the more I worry.
I reach her room and I gently knock.
My grandpa answers the door and I immediately hug him. I start crying into his shoulders, and he is rubbing my back.
“It's okay Celeste. Please don't cry." I pull back from the hug and wipe away my tears.
