Devlin POV
I sent out invitations for a dinner.
I am sitting at the head of the table, one of the vampire lords that was taking over my place is quivering across from me. I guess word hasn't gotten around about me being unsealed. I take a sip out of the wine glass and peek at those who gathered before me.
Everyone that is seated at the table is high-ranking and a powerful vampire. Of course, not as strong as me. I smirk at myself. I can feel their fear and unhappiness. I imagine they are thinking of ways to get rid of me. They have no desire to fight alongside me or fight against humans.
I will change their minds of course. Those who defy me will merely be killed. The choice is theirs.
I put my wine glass down.
