“Damn it.” Adam cursed while closing the latest message he received from the one who had been tormenting him for the past three months.
They needed him to fight in an underground arena tonight. He wasn’t much a fighter, and he clearly knew that it was a way to punish him, but he still didn’t understand why he was adamant about making his life miserable.
Surely he had some underhand connections, but he never interacted with clients or any other person directly.
He worked for someone and that person is the one who dealt with everything. Adam only had to supply the requested materials and information.
