“Char. I miss you so much.” Mona screamed while running towards me. I stood up from the couch immediately, bracing myself for the impact because I knew that she was going to throw herself on me.
And that’s what she did.
She threw herself on me and wrapped her hands around my neck in a tight embrace.
I chuckled and wrapped my hands around her waist tightly.
“I miss you too, baby.” I cooed, and she laughed, which sounded like a cry.
“It has been four days….. four days, you know.” She complained, and I laughed.
According to the original plan, I had to come back the day after tomorrow. So, I was already a day earlier.
