Chapter Seventeen My eyes were starting to cross, so I squeezed them shut and took a break for a couple of minutes. I was coming up empty on finding anything in the book I had found giving the history of the area. Fortunately, the local newspaper had been digitized and we didn’t have to resort to hours of mind-numbing searches through reels of microfilm.
