Chapter 19 After being seen by Adonid's personal physician, Steigan spend the rest of the day sleeping. Upon waking, he felt much better than he had, not perfect, but better. With almost a bitter thought, he wondered if the physician had given him an antidote to whatever had made him so sick. Now, with a moon rising out the window behind him, Steigan got up, lit a candle, checked his locked door, and set to translating St. Steigan's journal. Soon, several pieces of parchment were tucked in between the pages of the journal. Feeling tiredness upon him again, Steigan closed the ink jar and set the quill aside.
