She envelops him in a welcoming hug.
His scent is heavenly. OMG! I wish for just this second, this person was Richard.
I don't know anything about this person, but I feel safe in his hands and with him” thought Claire in her mind as she gave Joshua such a tight, warm hug.
I'm so grateful to have someone who supports and understands me at this moment, so I was carried away imagining us having a deep connection, shared dreams and even a future filled with love” Claire said, her voice shaking, giving out the embarrassment she was trying to hide with a fake smile.
“If only I could seduce him!” she thought.
“You are a charming young lady, who goes for what she wants irrespective of the obstacles in her way” Joshua said, giving her a romantic look. “Richard told me your story and since then I have wanted to meet this dogged woman”.
“Too bad all the places we met were in a hospital”.
At this point, they both started laughing out loud. Anyone who enters that room can sense joy and emotional connection in the air.
“Let me sing a song for you” Joshua said, now standing up from the bed and began folding up his sleeves.
As Claire's gaze falls upon the handsome man standing in front of her, her heart skips a beat.
Her eyes traced the contours of his chiseled jawline, perfectly complemented by a hint of stubble.
His piercing eyes, like pools of deep ocean blue, captivated her with their intensity.
A mischievous smile plays on his lips, revealing a glimpse of his confident charm.
“Am I having a fantasy about a young man I know nothing about other than his name?...” she muttered only to her hearing though.
“My imagination weaves a tale of romance and desire, where this captivating man becomes the protagonist of my dreams.”
As Joshua was about to sing his song, he was lost in imagination about Claire.
His thoughts swirled with admiration and desire.
In his mind, he imagines her radiant smile and the way her eyes sparkle with warmth and intelligence.
He envisions moments of shared laughter and deep conversations, where they connect on a profound level.
Joshua's thoughts at that instance were consumed with the allure of her presence, and he couldn't help but imagine a future filled with love and happiness by her side.
“This song is from the depths of my heart for you” he then announced to Claire after he jolted himself back to reality.
“What would I do without your smart mouth?

He even sings this song better than the owner” Claire said, as her eyes dilated in emotion.
“Every movement and word he makes and says exudes grace and strength” she thought, drawing herself further into the enchanting imagination.

Joshua said as he concluded his song. He went closer and leaned over to Claire where she lay on the hospital bed.
As their eyes locked, a magnetic pull enveloped them, drawing them closer.
The air crackled with anticipation as their lips inched closer, hearts racing in sync.
Finally, their lips met in a tender, passionate kiss, igniting a fire within.
Afterward, a blissful silence filled the air, their souls intertwined, forever changed by that magical moment.
“We shouldn't have done that” Claire said, with an inch of guilt in the statement.
“Yes we shouldn't have”.
“Uhn! This man didn't even defend the moment they just had, and outrightly concurred that they shouldn't have”, Claire profusely thought.
“But this we will continue to do” Joshua said confidently.
“Gosh, he's so daring and kind!” Muttered Claire to herself, only she didn't know Joshua heard it.
“Oh yes I am, thanks for the compliment” Joshua remarked with a smirk. He knew the statement was meant for his ears.
“Wow you heard that?” Claire asked with laughter. “I didn't mean it like that, I just, ehn…well I confess alright, I give you that, you're audaciously daring”, finally confessing her thoughts openly.
“Richard is your best friend, and you're cheating on him with his fiancé? Come on, what isn't more daring than that, Josh?” She asked with a smile on her face, wanting to know how Joshua would answer those questions, to at least get a hold of the kind of man he is.
Silence.
Joshua didn't say a word!
