She looked at him and then she swallowed visibly before walking to sit in front of him. She looked over her shoulder at him and their eyes met. “You really should consider trying to avoid attention.” He said it to her for her own good, but the look on her face told him that she took it the wrong way. He sighed and shook his head. “I’m sorry you started with a bad day.” He added, and Chloe looked around the class with a frown on her face. He could tell that she was have been surprised that he said that and that was why she was looking around.
He smirked and said. “I just feel sorry, that’s all.” He bit his tongue as soon as he realized how that sounded, and he wanted to slap some sense into himself. That sounded, even more, worse than telling her not to get attention to herself.
