Her Revenge on the Alpha

Chapter 5

Kara's POV

Kara opened her eyes and was welcomed by the radiant glow of the sun. She smiled at how beautiful the sunrise was. She rolled out of bed and did a few stretches to get ready for the day. She went to the bathroom, brushed her teeth, and examined herself in the mirror. Oh how much she had changed since she left the pack. She smiled at the fact that James nor Cameron could even recognize her when they first met.

"Oh, how fun it's gonna be when everyone else sees me." She said as she laughed at her joke. She went to her bag and took a workout outfit she bought from a human store when Alexis and Jason went shopping. It was a completely different world there, everyone was so small compared to them, which caused all eyes to be on them. A girl even fainted when Jason winked at her, her friends tried to wake her but they too fainted when Jason flashed them a toothy smile. Kara laughed as she thought, she decided to go makeup-free today since she will be training all day and sweat will just ruin her hard work. She glanced at herself in the mirror and once she was satisfied with her look she opened the door to leave.

"Kara, you u......." A hand came out of nowhere and knocked her on her forehead. She stumbled back a bit to regain her balance as she clenched her fist and hit the person right in the nose. As her fist made impact she heard the bone c***k, as if not satisfied enough she raised her fist once more to land another punch when she saw the face of her attacker.

"Jason!" She questioned.

"Remind me to never knock on your door," Jason answered, one hand clutched over his blood-covered nose.

"I'm sorry Jason, I thought I was being ambushed," Kara shrugged sympatrically as she headed down the stairs.

All the pack members gathered in the conference hall to receive an announcement from their Alpha. Cameron stepped onto the stage and started to speak.

"As you all know most of our men have been injured due to endless attacks from those ruthless rogues. So we will need to step up on our performance in defending ourselves. You may have seen some strange faces around the pack recently but don't worry they are friends. We've made an alliance with the Blue Moon Pack, to aid us in fighting the war against the rogues. They are here to train and help develop our skills in both combat and weaponry." Cameron stated.

"This is Luke, Beta of the Blue Moon Pack," Cameron pointed at Luke as he stepped forward and nodded. "And this is Jason, master in weaponry, along with a few members of the Blue Moon Pack will be in charge of training you on their newly made weapons." Jason stepped forward nod and went back to his previous spot.

"And last but not least this is Kara," Cameron said looking back at Kara as she stepped forward to allow everyone to see her. Everyone started to whisper wondering if it was really Kara who left there five years ago. it was uncanny how much she had changed, she was unrecognizable.

"Kara, along with Beta Luke will be in charge of training you in combat." Cameron continued. "Everyone from ages 14- 50 male and female, please head to the training area in the next 30 minutes." Cameron finished as he left the stage, everyone followed suit and left the hall.

Kara went to the living area of the packhouse and saw a few of the pack warriors sitting lazily chatting. She saw a guy leaning against the wall and she recognized him as the Gamma's son Ashton. Now that James has taken over the pack more than likely he is the new Gamma. Kara walked up to him.

"Hey you," she said as she pointed at Ashton, he turned around looking at her annoyingly.

"Tell your warriors to get the hell outside on the training ground now," she said demandingly.

"Who are you to tell me what to do." He replied as he stepped closer to her. Kara rolled her eyes annoyingly. "Why don't you just take that sexy body of yours and join us, I'm sure we'll make it worth you're wild."

Kara rolled her eyes at his comment and punched him right in the face. He stumbled back ad regained his balance, he held the right side of his face and looked at Kara, his eyes changed from a deep blue to a piercing yellow as his wolf started to take control. He ran up to her ready to attack, but Kara was way ahead and she landed a spin kick right in his chest that sent Ashton spiraling across the room. Ashton's friends rose to their feet and went to defend their leader.

Kara punched the first guy that approached her in the face, he stumbled back and clutched his now broken nose. Two bulk guys charged toward her the first one made an attempt to punch Kara but she dodged his hand and punched him right in the stomach, the other guy grabbed her by her neck attempting to strangle her. She grabbed his hand that was placed around her neck, she pulled on it forcefully, his grip around her neck loosened she used that as an opportunity to spin out of his grip and pin his hand behind her back, and within a second she had him pinned to the floor. He screamed as she forcefully pushed his hand over his head causing it to snap.

"Kara?" James questioned, behind him stood Jason and Cameron with pure shock written all over their faces.

Kara stared at them for a while then back at the men on the floor. She pushed the guy's broken arm out of her hands and stood up. Without a word, she pushed past James, who had a horrid look on his face. Jason followed suit behind her as she exited the house.

"Remind me to not get on your bad side," Jason said as catch up to her. They both walked in silence towards the training ground.
