The night did not fall like it usually did. It crept in. Slow. Heavy. Unsettling. Nyx felt it long before the sky began to change. She stood at the edge of the training grounds, her eyes lifted toward the horizon. The moon had not yet darkened, but something in the air had shifted. The land felt… quieter.. Distant.
