*** EARLY MORNING THE NEXT DAY ***

The Marquess was at his study and had received a letter from Count.

Marquess- what’s this about? 

He places the lettering on the side for later 

Azlynn gets ready for today’s date with Isaiah, she take out a beautiful blue dress 

Azlynn- I think this would be nice on a day like this 

Maid- my lady, the Duke is here for you 

Azlynn was surprised because the date doesn’t start in another two hours or so.

Azlynn- ** why is he here so early ** 

Azlynn- ok just let him know I’ll be right out 

Maid- yes ma’am 

Azlynn gets ready fast as possible and leave the room she head down the hallway till she see her father 

Marquess- you going out today? 

Azlynn- yes I’ll be going out for a while 

Marquess- you’ll have to postpone your plans for now, we have a guest arriving to meet you today, I received the letter this morning

Azlynn- but we made date plans since last week and he’s already waiting for me

Marquess- who are you going with 

Azlynn- Duke Isaiah 

Marquess- you don’t mean the king right hand do you?

Azlynn- yes him 

Marquess- he’s here right now? 

Azlynn- yes dad I’ll.... 

Marquess passes Azlynn ignoring her and went to the waiting room were Isaiah was in, before he entered the room he takes a deep breath and fixed up his suit then he opens the door with confidence and greets the Duke 

Marquess- it’s a lovely morning how do you do Archduke Isaiah?

Isaiah- thank you Marquess for the greetings I’m fine I’m just waiting for your daughter 

Azlynn walks in the room 

Azlynn- yes waiting for ME and WE will be leaving now so thanks but no thanks.

Marquess- hold it!.. sit back down, 

They both obediently sit back down Azlynn rolling her eyes

Marquess- what kind of relation do you have with my daughter?

Azlynn- about tha...

Isaiah- we are dating 

Isaiah immediate reply 

Marquess- your dating my daughter...? ..... with whom permission?

Azlynn- dad stop.

Isaiah- well your daughter is the one who suggested us to date officially

Marquess- Azlynn.....?

Azlynn- it’s just for a while 

Isaiah- no it’s not

While Isaiah smiles the flowers start blooming in the background behind him making him look like an angel.

Azlynn - ** wtf?! ..why’s is their flowers and why is he so blinding when I look at him?!?** 

As she is squinting her eyes at Isaiah

Azlynn doesn’t realize that the earth mage maid is behind him making the flowers grow, and the sun is just shining on him.

Marquess- look I already have a marriage already set for her

Isaiah- well call it off

Isaiah still has a smile bit now it’s t uneasy.

Marquess- my daughter needs a husband

Isaiah- I’ll take her hand in marriage

Isaias mediately reply.

Azlynn- hold o...

Azlynn at this point is not involved in the conversation she’s being completely ignored

Marquess- you’ll have to get your blessing with the king 

Isaiah- a moth from now I’ll be meeting with his majesty

The butler walks in and wipers in to the marquess ear,  Isaiah stands up to step out for a while then walks back in and sits next to Azlynn again.

Isaiah- you don’t have to worry about the counts son anymore I took care of it just know

Azlynn opens her mouth in shock like her soul was about to leave her body but Isaiah pulls is right back he’s not going to let her just die that easily. Meanwhile through those doors outside sounds like a ruckus and someone yelling, then the door opened wide

Frederick- what is the meaning of this?!?! Azlynn is my fiancé like we had agreed on and who is this jerk who tried kicking me out?

Isaiah having a cold smile 

Isaiah- I thought I told you?,  Your engagement is off you can leave now

Marquess- I’m sorry Frederick this is the Duke Isaiah 

Frederick flinched and stared to sweat out of fear and recalling the he just called him a jerk and he thinks to himself 

Frederick- **she’s going to be engaged to that monster she must be forced in that marriage but to have the title of marquess I need to marry her**

Frederick- my lady if you don’t mind I’ll...

Isaiah- she does mind so leave 

First Azlynn was taken out of the conversation and she was brought back in but Isaiah is talking for her now, Azlynn is already annoyed at this point that her eyebrow is twitching 

Frederick ignored Isaiah and sits next to Azlynn to grabs her hand 

Frederick- look you can tell me if you still want this marriage? with me that is. 

Isaiah grabs Frederick hand making Frederick releasing Azlynn’s hand and crushing Frederick hand while still having a cold smile, 

Frederick- .... uhng!!!

Frederick trying to act cool but still sweating and now in pain

Azlynn and Marquess face went into shock , while Isaiah Sanitizing the hand that Frederick touched

Marquess- uhmm? ... what’s happening..?

Azlynn snapped and suddenly stands

Azlynn- FATHER!, CALL OFF THESE MARRIAGE PROPOSALS!!!!

Azlynn looks at Isaiah with an arrow pointing at her hand he sanitizing

Azlynn- ISAIAH STOP CLEAN MY HAND, THEY ARE NOT DIRTY!!!

Isaiah- but it’s contaminated...

With a puppy pouting face Isaiah had, she can’t stay mad at him 

Azlynn- Aw 

Azlynn turns around to Frederick , he flinches 

Azlynn- and you, Vulture!

Frederick- it’s Frederick 

Azlynn- I don’t care!!, Stop sweating, your staining the couch!

Frederick stands up and the maid stares at the sweat stain then starts cleaning it.

Azlynn- don’t bother cleaning it, it’s disgusting we have to throw the couch away 

As those words stabbing into Frederick chest 

Azlynn- I’m not ready for marriage at all 

Azlynn grabs her chest out of cold pain that’s acting up again then storms out of the waiting room, as soon as the door shut Isaiah stands, grabbing Frederick by the jaw as he looks down on him proceeds to tell him in a murderous voice

Isaiah- touch her again with your disgusting hands and you’ll be leaving with out them , marquess call off his engagement with Azlynn. 

Frederick- *COUGH COUGH *

Isaiah let’s got of Frederick and heads out looking for Azlynn, he entered her room and sees her by the fireplace shivering on the floor with her eyes shut tight.

Azlynn- it hurts ..., so cold... 

Isaiah kneels down and hugs her to warm her with his fire mana.

Isaiah- I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to act that why, I just got upset that they tried taking you away from me.

Azlynn eyes open and hugged him back, as she scoot over Isaiah sees the spot she was at, the floor was frosted, Isaiah looks alarmed knowing it’s not normal and just her tightly 

Isaiah- I need you with me as soon as possible 

Azlynn looks up to Isaiah confused 

Azlynn- why do you say that?

Isaiah- give me a month and we’ll go see the king to receive his blessings 

Azlynn- what are you talking about 

Isaiah stands up pick up Azlynn with him and lays her on the bed, he gently brushes her hair with his fingers and looks at her

Isaiah- what I’m saying is, Will You Marry Me?

Azlynn- Isaiah think about what you’re saying, we’re moving way to fast and it’s only been a week.

Isaiah- iv waiting long enough 

Azlynn- ... 

Azlynn caught on, that it has not just been a week, but like he’s met her long ago, more then just a week but since when and how???

Azlynn- when you say long enough you mean more then a week? Since when ?

Isaiah released that he made a mistake and try’s to sway the questions 

Isaiah- your feeling unwell, I’ll go and come back tomorrow once the day starts and the sun is hot for our day out, 

Isaiah kisses her forehead and replenish the mana crystal for her and walks out..., He starts to remember how he met her for the first time and wanted since.

*** Isaiah memories***

All mages are require to attend empire academy at the age 14. First day of the Academy, they had all mages to use their power to presents to the teachers, and their were some kids who did not know how to control it, Azlynn was one of them, she had over worked herself and ran off because she used too much of her magic and was feeling the cold pain in the chest. she stops at a tree outside to gain the warmth of the sun, she is still in pain tries to vomit but can’t.

Isaiah 3rd year student who was on the other side of that tree reading a book, he was annoyed that she was calling out for some one to help her and cursing out her parents that made her go to the academy. When he was getting up and about to leave Azlynn grabbed He’s hand not knowingly and did not know what she had done to him. She had exchanged her cold mana out into Isaiah body and took his heat mana. once Azlynn felt better she had fainted, due to the long lasting pain in her chest, Isaiah catches her in his arms and slowly lays her down by the tree. He looks at her face an sees that she is finally ok, with tears in her eyes she had a smiled and with little to no sound she mouths 

Azlynn- “thank you.”

“Isaiah who every one feared, since he was 5 years old, he who killed his sick mother by accident because she felt cold to him, and he wanted to warm her up, but over did it and burned her to death. His father called him a monster and told him every time his father had the chance that she should have never given him life. after another five years of suffering the father hung him self.”

He looks at his hand that she took and and placed it on his chest, the hot flame pain in the pit of his chest were gone, he was shocked, for so many years that he had endured it, the pain is finally gone and he was at peace because of her. Her pain she gave to him and took his pain, Isaiah wanted to keep her to himself.

  As days pass in the academy he still feels her mana with in him so Isaiah looked for another water mage to see if they are all the same, as he found one he asked

Isaiah- lend me you hand.

The 3rd year water mage was terrified of Isaiah but lent him his hand, Isaiah felt the water mage’s hand its cold but not like hers, he lets go of the water mage’s hand and walks off without saying a word, the water mage was terrified and confused.

  *2 years pass by*

.

 Isaiah kept a close eye on Azlynn, with out her realizing it he would watch her from a distance, but never getting close to her in fear that she would reject him like every one else has, so he will tell himself.

Isaiah-“as long as she doesn’t notice, it should be fine”

Later on the day, Isaiah was walking by the wall outside of the school, he can hear someone running around the corner, he didn’t want to run in to them because it would be a mess of things , so he waited and stands back until he noticed and was surprised who is was. It was Azlynn turning the corner with her lunch food in her hand and she trips on a rock on the floor as she is about to fall, Isaiah runs and catches her with one of his arms, she scrapes her knee on the cement while face planted on to Isaiah abdomen and her lunch squished onto Isaiah thigh and all over the floor , she looks like she is in discomfort due to the scrape on her knee. So Isaiah helps her up on her feet and settle her down on a curve of the sidewalk she smiles at Isaiah 

Azlynn-“thank you for catching me, it would have been way worse”

Isaiah- “it wasn’t a big deal”

Isaiah hated what he just said it made him sound “arrogant” and it was not what he wanted to say when he bumped into her again.

 Azlynn see’s her food scattered all over the sidewalk and on Isaiah leg she immediately sees that he’s a 5th year and turns red from embarrassment then proceed to take out her handkerchief trying to wipe off the food from Isaiah‘s thigh, Isaiah couldn’t think straight because she was grabbing his thigh, he grabs her hand moving it away from his leg Isaiah tells her in a shocked voice 

Isaiah-“w...What are you doing?.., it’s fine.. I’ll change” 

 Azlynn looks at the hand he grabbed and notice that his hands are running extremely hot more then normal mages, she thinks to herself 

Azlynn-**he must be a fire mage if I cool him off maybe he won’t be as mad...right?** 

She looks at him with a smile to asked him

Azlynn -“your a fire mage right? Well.. I guess you have no choice” 

she reaches her hands in front of Isaiah with palms up

Azlynn -“ok give me your hands” 

she demanded Isaiah and he obeyed like a puppy in training , she closed her eyes and focuses really hard and Isaiah felt cold tingling starting on his finger tips going through his arms and entering his body, it felt refreshing she lets go of his hands, stands up dusting herself off, Isaiah looks up at her and see her shivering like she was freezing he wanted to warm her but was afraid that he might hurt her or kill her like he did with his mom. 

Azlynn -“ alright we are even now ok, we’ll see you later then” 

As she was running off she yells.

Azlynn-“IM SORRY ABOUT THE FOOD! (AHHK!!!)” 

she almost runs into something else, seeing how clumsy she is Isaiah chuckles.

Isaiah- “pfft”

As Isaiah was seeing her run off the crown prince appears behind him seeing Isaiah smile for the first time.

Crown prince - “Oi! she’s a cutie” 

as the crown prince taunts Isaiah over his shoulder and immediately back away from Isaiah, the crown Prince lift up his hand as if he’s surrendering 

Crown prince- “oh! Ahah!.. I was just kidding, she all yours to play with.. unless you want me to.... **COUGH COUGH** ARE YOU CRAZY WHAT ARE YOU..**COUGH**... DOING RELEASING YOUR MANA AROUND ME.... ** COUGH COUGH**” 

Isaiah has released his fire aura which makes the people around Isaiah hard for them to breathe, Isaiah walks close to the crown prince and tells him in a murderous tone of voice 

Isaiah-“don’t even think about saying her name, let alone get near her” 

and proceeds to walk away while the crown prince was choking on the floor.

Crown prince- “YOU FUCKEN MONSTER!!”

Isaiah ignored it and continue walking away.
