It's finally summer, I've been waiting for too long for this time to come. First-year in university and it's already killing me slowly, I cannot get more than 5 hours of sleep, and I'm afraid I look like a panda when my mom sees me again.
Some students have already rushed to their hometown and here I am taking my sweet time because for the first time in Forever, I had a long sleep and I needed it. This feels so good getting the right amount of sleep, oh how I wish this would be my routine every day.
I live in an apartment with my best friend just a few blocks from my university. And I like walking there from here.
About my best friend, I met her when I arrived here in Boston just a year ago and we already bonded like sisters. I'm an only child and I like the thought of having a sibling so that's why I easily got close with Alyssa as she was the only girl in the family with 4 brothers.
We both already booked our tickets to return home for summer, I will surely miss her but Mom has a surprise for me back home, she made a boyfriend while I'm here and she has news for me when she gets home. I have an afternoon flight tomorrow, I'm done packing my bags and ready to go home.
I spit out on the sink as I watch my reflection in the mirror, I took some under-eye masks last night which I use every other day and they appear to be doing their job helping me not look like a panda.
I placed back my toothbrush and started doing my daily skincare.
I walked back to my room and changed, I've got nothing to do today since I already packed my things yesterday.
Making my way to the kitchen, I notice Olivia sitting on the couch with a cup of coffee in her hands watching TV.
I walk past her as I lean against the counters watching her. "Good morning."
"Morning babes, how was sleep?" She glanced at me.
I smiled feeling great. "I've never felt better."
She pats the cushion signalling me to sit next to her. I took a glass of water on the way and plumped down next to her. "What's wrong?" I say.
"There's nothing wrong, I just wanna show you something." she giggles. "Do you remember the guy I had a crush on?" her voice filled with admiration.
"Your brother's friend? Nathan?" I ask already knowing the answer.
"Yes!" She answers. "He invited me to go to a party with some of his friends, tonight." she adds. "and I would hate to decline so I agreed, plus we are leaving tomorrow."
"We? Does that mean I'm coming?" I asked.
"When are you not with me girl." She smacked me and we both laughed. "wear your best dress."
"Does that mean your brother is gonna be there too?" she nodded. "Then how are you gonna flirt with him when your brother's gonna burn holes through your head?" I laugh.
"That's why you're gonna distract him, please." she pleads.
"isn't his girlfriend gonna be there?" I say. "I'm sure your brother will understand you, he knows how it feels to fall in love because she has Ingrid, she's lovely," I assured her.
She looks down. "I just don't like when he controls me too much, I'm already grown and he still thinks I'm little Livvie." her voice small.
I grabbed her shoulders and made her look up at me. "Then tell him, isn't this your life? you're allowed to make your own decisions in life and face the consequences on your own or with someone, with me. He can't decide for you all the time." I said not so sure about my choice of words.
She hugged me and sighed. "Thank you, Issa."
I rubbed her back. "Trust me."

I eventually pulled out my outfit from a small bag inside my luggage and hung it in my closet for a while as I got ready with my makeup.
I didn't go with heavy makeup, I chose to wear my usual makeup that I wear on every formal occasion. I chose a peach-pink gloss and Let my hair hang loose after curling it.
I stood up and took my outfit from its hanger and wore it. It's one of the best pairs in my wardrobe, I wore a pair of leather flare pants paired with the black lace corset top.
I wore a perfume and grabbed my purse as I waited for Olivia in the living room, Not long after, she went out of her room in a light pink mini dress, and her hair up.
"You look beautiful!" I beamed at her.
She scoffs. "So do you." I chuckled.
I pulled out my hand and she took it as we walked out of our apartment and took a cab to the address Nathan sent.
I was a bit nervous and excited at the same time as I was about to get drunk in a few hours, I could not hold myself from alcohol as it made me feel great and bad at the same time. It's still strange I still hang out with Olivia and she still hangs out with me since I dated one of her brothers for 3 months and we both felt it wasn't right so we broke things after. But his brother was only visiting and I couldn't handle the long-distance relationship.
His other brothers still like me since Olivia is too attached to me. My favorite brother of hers is probably Alexis, he goes to a different university here in Boston but keeps in touch as always.
Olivia is very sweet and her crush on Nathan isn't just a small crush, she told me she liked him since high school, and since then she has been loyal to a guy she's not even dating. And the fact that she rejected all the guys for him and saved her 'v-card' for someone special whom I knew she was talking about amazes me.
She's never been in a relationship, while I have 2 exes, sometimes I even have to drag her to have fun you know? She is so head over heels for that guy.
"So, I heard." She starts as I watch the buildings we pass. "A new guy will be joining next semester." she winks.
I scoff, "What does it have to do with me?"
"Well you know, I kinda feel bad after how my brother treated you. You should get into a new relationship sometime, that's the only time I see you happy." she let out.
I look at her and laugh. "what the f**k do you mean? You know I'm happier with you Liv, no man has ever made me happier than you." I linked my arms with hers.
"But he is hot." She says dragging the t. "He's a junior, not bad right?" she looked at me.
"How did you find him?" I ask out of curiosity.
"I told you, I heard." She rolls her eyes. "I have his Instagram." she nudges me.
I shake my head laughing. But she was persistent, the whole ride she was showing me pics of this new guy which I can't deny that he is truly good-looking.
I look forward to having fun tonight, maybe going overboard I might even cross my limits, doesn't matter right? Just one time to satisfy myself.

When we arrived at the house, I meant the mansion, we didn't expect it to be so crowded but I mean we didn't know whose party it was not to mention. We couldn't stop laughing as we made our way through the crowd, the music was loud and we were looking for guys.
I spotted Eric in the living room probably the second living room I found in this house and saw the others as well, I dragged Olivia as we pushed everyone on the way.
Eric turned around and noticed us, he was shocked at first and turned to Nathan who was wearing a cocky smile, how come he didn't tell him.
"What are you guys doing here?" Eric says with a drink in his hands. "and what in the f*****g hell are you wearing Liv?" he tosses his jacket on Olivia which made me irritated.
"And why is she not allowed to dress what she wants?" I spoke making him dart his eyes on me.
"Are you trying to turn her into someone like you?" He said which made me slap him right across the face.
"What the f**k Eric?" Olivia pulled me away from him.
"You're dressed like a w***e why wouldn't I be mad?" He gritted his teeth.
"If Olivia wants to dress differently, she should do so because it is her choice and because she feels comfortable in the outfit, not because someone else tells her to do so," I inform him with a sharp look.
"Stop being a controlling manipulative bitch." I spit out. "Come on Liv." she follows me as we get away from them. Who the f**k does he think he is, calling me a w***e? He has gone too far.
We stopped in front of a bathroom and stepped inside.
I faced her and grabbed her cheeks. "I'm so sorry for calling your brother a bitch." I said afraid she might look at me wrong.
Her mouth tugged up and she smiled. "It's okay, he deserved it," she whispers.
"Please don't let him stop you from doing what you love Liv," I tell her.
"Of course, from now on I won't let him stop me from anything." She says. "I mean can't a girl dress like this, we look so good right now." She laughed.
"I'm truly sorry," I repeat.
Someone knocked on the door and I heard Nathan's voice.
"Now come on, get the guy." I tease.
She smacked me. "Shut up, But wait, what about you?"
I honestly don't know what I will do but I'd like a drink right now. "Don't worry about me, I'll be alright on my own," I assured her as she smiled and nodded.
"Please text me," She says before going out the door.
Nathan apologizes and they exchange a few words before Nathan takes her hand and drags her somewhere.
I stood watching the open door and clutched the sides of my pants. Sighing I took a glimpse of myself in the mirror before forcing a smile and going out the door.
On my way, I bumped into someone unexpectedly and Lost my balance, wearing heels was such a great idea.
I shrieked as I held onto the stranger's biceps and his hands fell on my waist as he helped me to prevent myself from falling on the ground.
"s**t, sorry." the stranger spoke as I tried to regain balance and fix my top.
"It's okay, I-" My breath hitched as I looked up at him.
The new guy Olivia was talking about standing in front of me, and he looks glorious. His brown hair was more lighter than the photo and his hazel eyes glowed in my sight.
He was way more attractive in person.
"I- Um was not.. seeing things clearly." I chuckled as I took a step back giving more space between us.
"Do you happen to know where the liquors are?" I added. Making things awkward.
He is still looking at me not saying anything before opening his mouth. "I do." he gave me a charming smile.
He started to guide me I assumed the kitchen, a few people were there and different kinds of liquors were displayed in front of me. "Wow."
"What's your taste?" He asks me.
"Vodka?" I just want to drink a strong one right now.
he proceeds to look for it but finds 3 empty bottles of them. He turns to me. "I'm afraid there's none left." His voice is distracting me from what I want. He looks too good staring at me with those eyes.
"Lucky me." I joke.
"You really want vodka though?" he inquires.
"I mean, it is what I'm here for, Life's a bore, gotta find fun." I shrugged.
He chuckles and walks into a door. "Come here," he says before I trail behind him like a tail.
Everything in this house is marble, the owner must be rich. "Do you know the owner of this house? Do you know him?" I question looking around.
"I am him." He smirked at me as he opened a door for me. Great heavens.
I went inside and the room was filled with bottles of wine, it was a wine cellar. It almost looked like a*****e. Each glass cabinet has labels on them, the names of what kinds of drinks. "You came from a wealthy family?"
"I help my father manage his company, pretty neat." He says walking behind me. "I seem to be craving vodka too," he grinned and I smiled.
He grabs a bottle and a glass as he leads me to a couch. He places them on the coffee table and motions for me to sit down.
"So what's your name?" he sat beside me and poured vodka into the glass.
I examined his actions as I spoke. "Isabella, you can call whatever you like." I leaned back on the couch.
He nodded and handed me the glass. I look at the liquid before drinking it in one shot squinting my eyes cause of the strong taste.
"You?" I look up at him. "Your name?" I ask as he looks down at me with amusement.
"Samuel."
