Rylee’s POV:
“Rylee? Rylee! I can hear you. Are y’all okay? Where are you?”
“Yes we are both fine. We got out and are in the woods. I’m not sure where exactly, but the guards are not far behind us. Help!”
I had to focus on where we were going, so I cut the conversation short. God it was good to hear from Luke though, I hoped they could find us in time.
The men were getting closer behind us, I could hear them. I was moving as fast as my legs would let me, but it wasn’t quick enough.
I ran through some bushes and turned around a big tree, slamming hard into something on the other side.
Thankfully it was a beautiful full moon tonight, so atleast if I was going to die it would be with the moon Goddess watching down on me. Pulling myself to my feet I focused on the man in front of me.
