I felt a lot better after the bath. I had opted for a hot bath but it only made me feel more uncomfortable, so when I tested the cold water on my skin, it felt wonderful. I didn’t know how cold it was, but what mattered most was, it made me feel a lot better.
“Why?” I asked him.
“When I ask you a question, do not answer me with a question, Mate?”
“It means I have not answered you yet. I also ask you a question. They are distinctly different.”
Even in our link, I thought I heard his growls.
“Where are you?” He asked once again, and I thought my mark throbbed. My hand immediately flew to my neck to rub his mark.
“Just somewhere comfortable for me, where I can breathe fresh air and see beautiful foliage.” I carped.
