“Jake, you’re overreacting,” I said calmly as my mate pulled at his hair, pacing nervously about. “No, Clara, I am not overreacting. In fact, it’s very possible I am underreacting. You definitely are,” He replied, continuing to pace about. His nervousness was making me nervous and I just wanted to sleep. I was still so tired and I knew I shouldn’t have said anything to him.
