Reign She parked the car in front of her house, her fingers gripping the steering wheel tightly. I couldn’t tell what was running through her mind, but I knew I’d just ruined weeks of avoiding her over a couple of bruises. I thought staying away would make things easier for both of us, but seeing Luke run his mouth like that—making her the butt of his disgusting jokes—I couldn’t let it slide.
