Medora “I kissed Anthony,” I confessed to Yellow as we walked out of the hotel. “What?” she exclaimed, nearly stopping in her tracks. “I was drunk. I don’t even remember what it was like,” I said dismissively, avoiding her gaze. “What about Clyde?” she whispered, moving away from Peter and Charles to speak more privately. “He hates me. He wants us to just be friends,” I shrugged, trying to sound indifferent. “Didn’t you already try that?
