Chapter 17  Ethan’s pov “I’m in a meeting. I don’t have time to deal with your drama.” He hangs up. The words Call Ended glow on my screen for two seconds, then fade to black. I called back. The first ring doesn’t even finish before he cuts it. The second try goes straight to voicemail. The ring in the fireplace slowly melts into the flames, just like my mood.
