The war starts doing something strange.
It's small at first. A Rogue unit pulls back from ground it fought three weeks to take, for no reason anyone can find.
A supply route that should have been hit stays quiet.
Then a piece of intelligence lands in the alliance's lap. Clean. Useful. True. And nobody knows who dropped it there.
Bobby brings me the analysis between cases.
"Command can't make sense of it." He keeps his voice low. "Riven's whole pattern is shifting. Some of his units are pulling in. Contracting."
