Ethan's POV
That b***h Sora. She ran with other man!
The Mind-link explodes in my ear.
I don't even fully hear it for a second.
My mother has never used a scream like that with me.
I stand up off the sofa.
Every staff member in the bridal boutique looks over. Lyra turns on the platform. The hem of the gown sweeps the floor.
I walk to the door of the shop. Away from everyone.
"Mom." I switch to an encrypted Mind-link channel. "Say that again."
Sora. She had a suitcase. She had Yuki. There was a Royal Beta at the door to pick her up. I had the staff hold her. The Beta scared all of them back.
She has been working with someone, Ethan. She betrayed you !
She's gone ! She's already gone!
I stand at the door of the boutique.
I laugh once.
