Sora's POV
The child has no name.
The intake records have nothing on him. Source Pack: Unknown. Next of kin: No record. Last Pack Bond confirmation: Never.
I call him Oliver.
It isn't an official name. Just something to call him.
He doesn't respond to it. But when I say it, his eyes shift one degree in my direction. Just one degree. Then they go back to looking at nothing.
He doesn't speak. I knew this from day one.
But I figure out later. He doesn't only not speak.
He doesn't cry. When he's hurt he doesn't cry. When he's hungry he doesn't cry. When he's cold he doesn't cry.
How I figure it out.
The second night, before my shift ends, I go to him. He's in the corner he sits in. Same posture. Hands on his knees. Eyes pointed in that direction.
