CHAPTER 29
ADRIANNA’S POV
Today was the day of our escape. At any moment, Eric will be here to take me with him. There was no need for preparations because there was nothing to pack, nothing to take with me because I arrived here without anything, only Eric’s coat which he used to cover me that day. I forgot to return it to him yesterday. I’ll do my best to return it today though I doubt he’ll still need it.
Outside, the sky was a velvet of darkness. This time, the stars were scattered all over it, sparkling with tiny twinkling lights. The moon was present too, glowing brightly at the centre and casting its soft silver light over everything.
