CHAPTER 10 ADRIANNA’S POV As we stepped out of the room and walked down the hallway, I glanced around, hoping to memorize the castle’s layout just in case. But it was obscure. The entire structure was built like a f*****g labyrinth. It was like the more I looked, the less I saw. As I followed closely behind the maids who walked with their chin and shoulders high like haughty peacocks, I thought of ditching them and escaping. I could sneak out on them like a ghost or in the blink of an eye, find who had the key to that room they put me in and lift it from her pocket.
