EVELYN’S POV
I took deep breaths to steady myself “Hey Evie” Ryder smiled with a bottle of orange juice in his hands “Juice?” He asked calmly.
“Yeah” I answered with an awkward smile and having the cap open “So..how’s it going with the students so far?” I asked before gulping down a large amount of juice into my system.
“Well..they’re actually a handful but not so bad, there are some nice ones and some well…”
“Not so nice ones” I chipped in, completing his sentence and we both erupted in laughter. It had been a while I had someone with the same experience and age, it made me smile, it felt so refreshing.
