ZEUS I stared at Armand across the council chamber and slowly felt my patience evaporate. But instead, I laughed. Not because anything was funny, but because that was the alternative to putting my fist through his skull, and trust me, I was still heavily considering it. "You are being utterly ridiculous," I said, my tone dangerous and cold. The bastard said nothing, looking entirely too pleased with himself in a way that even infuriated me more. “The Luna Trials?” I repeated. “Are you serious?” “As a heart attack,” he smirked. I shook my head. “No. Absolutely not.” I rose from my chair and planted both palms on the table, my Alpha aura leaking out instinctively, a crushing weight that filled the room, forcing the council members to shift uncomfortably or tremble in their seats.
