"You should know that by now I can literally do anything for you" he said softly and kissed my forehead.
His voice and the pain in it was evident and made me feel guilty for being the cause when he had come in here with the hopes of sharing his good news with me so we could celebrate.
"Mom.." I began but couldn't complete it as what had just happened a few minutes back came rushing.
