CHAPTER 6
WHEN MARISA WOKE UP in the morning, she was alone in the room.
Slowly she got up, feeling sore in places she didn’t even know existed, she went up to the bathroom and took a quick shower. She put on the same clothes she had the night before and after combing her hair into a ponytail, she left the room, heading to the restaurant for some breakfast.
The bartender wasn’t around, nor were any of the guys. She guessed they had left with their trucks. She ordered some eggs and bacon, along with toasts. She was starving that morning and she needed the energies to drive up to her parents’ house.
