Clarabell's POV As days went, this day wasn't special. As always, the rays of the sun woke me up. For a second, I couldn't figure out why I was back home. Without warning it started coming back to me in bits. I was home to spy on my step dad. Micheal too. My fists were clenched hard at my sides as I stood just outside Michael's study. Every day was a reminder that the walls were closing in, and the atmosphere in the house had become oppressive. Not one of us in the house acknowledged it though. We still had smiles plastered on our faces. And of course, the smiles were obviously forced if any one with eyes was to review their sincerity levels.
