As I gazed at the face on Ivy's screen, my vision became blurry and the world skewed slightly. Alexander Gray. Not only did the name seem familiar, it slithered beneath my skin and ignited every nerve.
I was feeling a contradictory mixture of fear and… some feelings of adventure? I know that's an odd state of mind to be in. But it couldn't be helped. Emotions by their nature are involuntary. You could hide your emotions if you were skilled enough, but I dare say it would a hard thing to not feel them. For example, there are many times, I wanted to jump my mate and ravage him on the spot.
