April Fool’s Day
Jax and I stood in the security line at Pittsburgh International Airport, shoulder to shoulder, waiting patiently to make our way to Gate B after being inspected by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). American Airlines flight 7845 would be taking off for Key West, Florida, in less than forty minutes.
“We need this little adventure together,” Jax told me. “March was a rough month for us, even if we fell in love.”
It was Jax’s idea to take the trip south, leaving Pittsburgh for five days. He determined both of us needed a break from the media and their continuous hounding about Matthew Van Millerhowsen.
