She’s gone, gone for good. Part of me hates her, but I know I drove her to this. She thought she was protecting me, when in reality I left to protect her. I’m on the ground in the guest room that Christophe had given me, when I felt her claim someone else, my heart felt as if it had been severed in two. I don’t know what she was thinking, that this would make Christophe somehow let me go, because now he definitely won’t let me go now.
